The 2019 Gemelli is a delectable Super Tuscan-style field blend of approximately 90% Sangiovese (Montalcino clone) and 10% small berry Merlot. The vineyard is located in the Los Olivos District AVA in the cooler western portion of the Santa Ynez Valley. This allows for longer cluster hang time, full fruit development, and harvesting at optimal ripeness.
How to enjoy - open, taste, decant, taste, let sit for 20-30 minutes, then sip and savor the rich flavor, perfectly balanced composition, and think “now that’s a Sangiovese!”. Ready to drink now, but will benefit from short-term aging (1-3 years). 120 cases.
